SANDY SPRINGS, GA — The second installment of Movies By Moonlight will be held Friday on the lawn at City Springs. The show, set for Sept. 7, will feature a screening of "The Greatest Showman."
Leadership Sandy Springs’ signature event kicked off Aug. 24 with "Coco," which brought a flurry of excitement due to its new location in the heart of the city.
Like the very successful pre-movie activities for "Coco," Friday’s festivities will have a myriad of fun, circus themed activities perfect for the entire family. These include appearances by a circus ringmaster, clown, stilt juggler and balloon artist, along with face painting, games, photo ops complete with clown noses and circus props, and performances by Jump Start Gym and the North Georgia School of Ballet.

Movie goers are encouraged to come early, bring blankets or lawn chairs and pack a picnic or buy food from food trucks and a concession stand offering drinks, popcorn, candy and other favorite snacks.
Raffle drawings will be conducted before the movie for event tickets to the Alliance Theater’s "Wizard of Oz," Zoo Atlanta, Chattahoochee Nature Center and the Museum of Contemporary Art. There will also be drawings for gift cards to be used at Fogo de Chao, Chef Robs, Hammocks, Under the Cork Tee, Il Giallo and Southern Bistro.
Parking is available in the parking garage, with the first two hours are free. Festivities kick off at 6 p.m., and the movie begins at dusk. For more information, visit the Leadership Sandy Springs website or Movies By Moonlight Facebook page. You can also call 404-256-9091.
