Live updates: Gus Malzahn previews Liberty on Tiger Talk

Auburn will look to get its seventh win of the season when they host FBS Independent Liberty on Saturday at 3 p.m. inside Jordan-Hare Stadium. The Tigers are a significant favorite against the Flames, who come in between Auburn’s games at No. 5 Georgia and No. 1 Alabama.

— Malzahn on Liberty: “You see a team that can play.” He said there’s another motivating factor that it will be the Seniors’ final game.

— Malzahn says that Liberty is a complete team.

— Malzahn said he still remembers his last home game in high school and college. Said it’s a memory that sticks with you.

— Malzahn said the early signing date changes recruiting. He said there will be “quite a few” signatures on the signing date. Malzahn also said 75 percent of the signing class comes in December.

— Malzahn on Deshaun: “He’s our leader. … He’s like a coach on the field.”

— Malzahn on Dontavius: “He’s one of our leaders.”

— Malzahn on Tucker Brown: “Tucker is one of our leaders.” Said he’s turned into a good football player, too.

— Malzahn on Chandler Cox: “Chandler is a tough guy. … He’s dirt tough.”
